Photosynthesis is the process by which plants use the energy from sunlight to produce sugar (carbohydrates). Six molecules of water plus six molecules of carbon dioxide produce one molecule of sugar and six molecules of oxygen. It is easy to see that environment conditions and the amount of light available dictate the level of sugar that the plant will produce. This energy is used by the plant to maintain biological function; any excesses in production will be stored in the plant. Supplementing with CARBOLOAD ™ will ensure adequate levels of carbohydrates through the flower building stage to produce larger flowers and thus a greater final yield. If being used, CARBOLOAD ™ will also provide food to our beneficial cultures.

You can use basic sugars (and probably have if you've used any of our competitors products) if you are not concerned with optimum growth. CARBOLOAD ™ was crafted after our Research and Development department pinpointed the ratios of 5 very specific simple and complex carbohydrates that our favourite plants utilize.

+ DOES CARBOLOAD ™ HARM THE BENEFICIAL MICRO-ORGANISMS THAT I HAVE ADDED TO MY SYSTEM?
The exact opposite actually. CARBOLOAD ™ is a food source for micro-organisms and subsequently helps establish healthy, more prolific colonies of these beneficial microbes.

CARBOLOAD™ is a blend of performance boosting carbohydrates whereas Sweet Leaf loads the plant with flavour and aroma enhancing terpenoids.
