You can see right off the bat that a lot of the equipment being used by General Hydroponics is antiquated at best. Just look at the guy manually tightening the caps on each and every bottle... I'm sorry but that's hilarious considering there are automated machines that can do this much more efficiently!

The best part though, is that the formula that's featured in the video is just their basic Flora Gro-Micro-Bloom line, one of the simplest and most basic nutrient formulas that General Hydroponics makes.

Are you at all curious why they choose not to highlight some of the more difficult to manufacture formulas like biological products?

Apparently a commentator under General Hydroponics' original video, named "Blue" asked this same question... and... If you read the actual comment left by a General Hydroponics moderator underneath the video you would see:

 
It's really simple... General Hydroponics DOES NOT make all of their own products. While it's true that they do have 3 factories, and they own their "equipment", they actually outsource some of their products. Some of the more sophisticated beneficial bacteria and fungi products such as Sub Culture B and M require extensive research and advanced technology to manufacture.
