That’s why we couldn’t be more excited to announce our new dollar-for-dollar match campaign with Humanity Heroes, BigMike’s rapidly expanding non-profit organization. What started as a local effort to provide the homeless community on Skid Row with life-giving essentials has snowballed into a wide-ranging national movement. The team packages these daily necessities in ‘Humanity Packs,’ each of which include a broad range of products most of us take for granted on a daily basis.
Right now, Advanced Nutrients is matching contributions of up to $150,000 to Humanity Heroes’ 2021 Donation Campaign.
The goal is to distribute 7,000 Humanity Packs to help the homeless in need…
Though we’re confident with such an incredible community joining our crusade, we’ll be able to push that number even further.
What’s Included in Each Humanity Pack
To curate the Humanity Heroes with the most essential items, BigMike went straight to the source. Instead of relying on conjecture, he went down to Skid Row and asked everyone he met what they needed most.
Each Humanity Pack is a compilation of the most requested items.
When you donate to the campaign, you’ll be helping provide homeless veterans, youth, and victims of domestic violence with the following items:
- First-Aid Kits, Facemask, Hand Sanitizer, Flashlight
- Beanie, Gloves, Socks & Wool Blankets
- Rain Poncho, Sunscreen & Lip Balm
- Feminine & Personal Hygiene Items & Toiletries

Humanity Heroes Success Stories
BigMike started Humanity Heroes back in 2014. Since then, he’s helped over 40,000 homeless people in Southern California get the essentials they need to stay safe, clean, and comfortable. Every year, he and his team of volunteers conduct an annual run down to Skid Row, where they hand Humanity Packs out directly to those who need them most.
Last year, Los Angeles’ Mayor Eric Garcetti and the City of Los Angeles Recreation & Parks recognized the non-profit for their contribution to homeless shelters in the city during COVID-19. Although homelessness had already been increasing over the last four years, the pandemic incited an immediate need for direct relief. Humanity Heroes sprang into action to meet the rising demand, and donated hygiene kits, face masks, and safety essentials to those unable to access them.
Most recently, the team expanded its mission to improve the quality of life for the homeless to multiple states, including Colorado, Michigan, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington.
Now, we’re asking our community to come together and show the world the power of our compassion. Together, we know we can help Humanity Heroes’ exceed their goal of 7,000 Humanity Packs donated to the homeless in need.
