What 4/20 Looked Like For California Wildfire Victims

For many growers, April 20th is a time for community.

And that couldn’t be more true for BigMike and the team here at Advanced Nutrients.

Which is why when the devastating Bear Fire engulfed 200+ acres of land in Oroville, California, we immediately sought out ways to help affected growers and wildfire victims.

First, we donated $125,000 worth of Advanced Nutrients products to the grow community, so they could start to replenish the essentials they need to restart their businesses.

We also provided $125,000 in monetary donations, a small start to getting those in need back on their feet. Many of these growers lost some of their most valuable possessions, including their homes. With these contributions, victims of the fire were able to obtain permits to live in nearby trailers while their homes were being rebuilt. The monetary donations also helped them overcome financial hardships caused by lost assets.

And on 4/20 itself, we teamed up with BigMike’s non-profit, Humanity Heroes, and hydro store Advanced Soil and Gardens, to host a community donation event.

Jennifer and Billy Lancaster lost their dream home to the Bear Fire. While enduring the catastrophe, they transformed their trauma into compassion.

On 4/20, they opened Advanced Soil and Gardens to the entire community for our joint donation event. And they spent their own money to buy warm meals for everyone who stopped by.

We were inspired to see just how much the Lancasters cared about their customers, friends, and family…

And how far they were willing to go to help other California wildfire victims, even when they too were suffering.

BigMike’s Non-Profit Also Made These Wildfire Relief Donations

In addition to the Lancasters’ generosity and Advanced Nutrients’ contributions, Humanity Heroes stepped up to help those affected by the Oroville fire.

They donated their renowned Humanity Packs, which consist of life-giving essentials that help those in need…

Items you and I may take for granted, which mean the world to people who don’t have them.

They also donated 60 warm blankets to 40 California wildfire victims, as well as 200 CBD water bottle donations, courtesy of Nano Fit waters.
